In collaboration with the City of Watkins, the Watkins Lions, and the Chamber of Commerce, I was commissioned to design and paint a large community mural on Main Street. I developed the overall design and completed the primary painting, creating a bold centerpiece that celebrates the town’s spirit and identity.

The mural features large letters spelling out Watkins, with their interiors intentionally left open to be filled by local artists. Each letter will showcase scenes from around the community, making the mural not only a landmark but also a living collaboration between artists and residents.

This project was both an honor and a creative challenge — weaving together a shared vision while leaving space for others to add their voice and artistry.
